β-Arrestin-1 Directly Interacts with Gαs and Regulates its Function

This study explores how β-arrestin and G protein signaling pathways coordinate with one another. The Octet system was used to conduct kinetic analysis of the interaction between β-arrestin and Gαs. Biotinylated Gαs was loaded onto Streptavidin biosensors for these measurements. Association/dissociation rate constants and equilibrium dissociation constants for these interactions were reported.
