Advancing 3D Imaging for Oncology Research: High-Content, High-Throughput Analysis with AI-Driven Precision
In this application note, we demonstrate the performance of the ImageXpress® HCS.ai System for high-throughput imaging and analysis of 3D spheroid models. We show accurate quantification of apoptosis and morphology changes with over 2× improvement in image quality and rapid, reliable autofocus across U-bottom plates. Using IN Carta® Software with both traditional and AI-based segmentation methods—including deep learning via the SINAP module—enable robust analysis even in low-signal conditions, supporting complex drug screening workflows. Together, these capabilities position the ImageXpress HCS.ai System as a powerful, end-to-end solution for advanced 3D imaging and analysis in drug discovery.
