New automated cell culture system at Emory University facilitates advanced organoid research

Emory University Scientist using the CellXpress.ai system

Emory scientists have installed the CellXpress.ai system—an automated cell culture platform designed for human organoids—making it one of only four such systems currently operating in the U.S. Funded by a $1.5 million NIH grant, the system is housed within Emory’s Brain Organoid Hub and is being made available to researchers across Emory and the state of Georgia.
