AI-enabled automated compound screening for toxicity effects using healthy intestinal 3D organoids

Discover how combining high-content imaging with machine learning dramatically improves the efficiency, scalability, and biological relevance from compound toxicity testing. In this poster, we share a fully automated workflow using human-relevant 3D organoid models for assessing intestinal toxicity. The study showcases how the CellXpress.ai® Automated Cell Culture System automates organoid culture and compound treatment, while the ImageXpress® HCS.ai High-Content Screening System and IN Carta® Image Analysis Software enable deep learning-based image analysis and phenotypic classification. The result: an effective method for evaluating drug-induced toxicity, facilitated by AI-enabled phenotypic classification of organoids.
