SpectraMax MiniMax 300 Imaging Cytometer

A field-upgradeable cellular imaging option for the SpectraMax i3 Multi-mode Detection Platform

Designed specifically for the SpectraMax® i3 Multi-Mode Detection Platform, the field-upgradeable SpectraMax® MiniMax™ 300 Imaging Cytometer option enables quick inspection of cells and provides insight into phenotypic changes that are important for understanding cytotoxicity, cell proliferation, and protein expression. Now with StainFree™ Cell counting Technology, additional Brightfield analysis features, and fluorescent green and red detection channels.

The SpectraMax MiniMax 300 Imaging Cytometer option is a field-upgradeable option for the SpectraMax i3 Multi-Mode Detection Platform  that offers cellular imaging capability.

Cell Count/Viability

  • CHO cells were plated in 2X dilutions starting from 32000 cells/well in a 96-well plate
  • Cells were then stained with Calcein AM dye and counted

Cell Proliferation/Cytotoxicity

  • Hepatocytes were treated with known compounds causing liver toxicity
  • Proliferation/toxicity effects assessed by measuring total cell area

Marker Expression

  • HUVEC cells were pre-treated with anti-inflammatory compounds and then cultured in the presence of inflammatory cytokines
  • Stimulated protein expression was measured by total integrated intensity
