Ensure High-quality Samples for Downstream Analysis

For single cells or small area applications, the gentle LCM process uses a non-damaging infrared laser. This preserves the integrity of labile biological molecules such as RNA.

For applications requiring larger areas of capture, the fast-cutting UV laser simply traces around the cells of interest. After cutting, the instrument then captures the cut region using just a few LCM spots. The resulting captured material can be visualized and checked to make sure the right material has been collected, saving downstream time and money.

Engineered specifically for microdissection, the Veritas Microdissection system processes samples in a completely enclosed environment.
