MDS Analytical Technologies, in association with ACC have validated the VersaMax absorbance microplate reader (can also use SpectraMax single mode absorbance readers) to detect and quantify gram-negative bacterial endotoxins and (1,3)-β-D-Glucans. ACC assays are used by pharmaceutical and medical device companies to ensure the safety of their parenteral drugs, biological products, and medical devices in a GLP environment. The VersaMax reader along with SoftMax Pro GxP software enable ACC customers to accomplish testing in FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance environment. The solution includes IqOqPq and SpectraTest hardware validation tools. Six automated assay analysis methods are provided with SoftMax Pro v5.3 or higher.
