Associates of Cape Cod, Inc., LAL/Endotoxin Detection Assays

Molecular Devices has added Associates of Cape Cod, Inc. (ACC's) Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) protocols to the MDS Versamax™ plate reader software, Softmax Pro GxP. ACC's LAL reagents are used to detect and quantify gram-negative bacterial endotoxins and (1→3)-β-D-glucans. ACC has over 35 years as an industry innovator and global supplier of endotoxin and glucan detection products and services. Their products are used worldwide by leading pharmaceutical and medical device companies to ensure the safety of their parenteral drugs, biological products and medical devices. The VersaMax™ reader along with SoftMax Pro GxP software enables ACC customers to accomplish testing in a 21 CFR Part 11 compliant environment. The solution includes a software validation package and SpectraTest hardware validation tools. Five ACC assay analysis protocols are provided with SoftMax Pro v5.3 or higher.
