Assays “Powered by SpectraMax™”

Molecular Devices® GPCR, Ion-Channel, Membrane Transporter, and Kinase targeted assays

Molecular Devices, now part of Molecular Devices, is well-known as a leader in providing novel, high-performance assay solutions optimized for Molecular Devices' instrumentation.
GPCRs
In the area of GPCR research our calcium assay kits including FLIPR® Calcium, Calcium 3 and Calcium 4, our LiveWare® g-protein cells and plasmids, and our CatchPoint® assays (measuring both AMP and GMP), have been validated on a variety of MDS microplate readers.
Kinases, phosphatases, and phosphodiesterases
The IMAP® platform for screening kinases, phosphatases, and phosphodiesterases, has a variety of tools and products such as the Evaluation kits, IMAP Purchase Plan, Substrate Finder kits and Validated Substrates that have all been validated on the SpectraMax® M5/M5e, FlexStation® 3 and Analyst® GT.
Ion Channels
The FLIPR Membrane Potential assay kit measuring ion-channel activity has been validated on the FlexStation II and FlexStation 3.
Membrane Transporters
Our membrane transporter assay kits, Fatty Acid Uptake and Neurotransmitter Transporter Uptake are validated on the SpectraMax, Gemini, FlexStation and Analyst GT readers.
