Cellular Imaging Comparison Chart

Molecular Devices high content imaging systems bring powerful cellular and sub-cellular analysis tools to the screening environment. Featuring industry-leading image analysis software and powerful database tools, the systems provide researchers with insights into how potential therapeutics affect multiple cellular processes.

Molecular Devices offers three platforms for high content imaging: ImageXpressMICRO™, ImageXpressULTRA™ and IsoCyte™.

The ImageXpressMICRO features a small footprint and utilizes an optional high-speed laser auto-focus option that allows for the acquisition of more than 50,000 wells/200 plates per day. The system is easily upgradeable to support full environmental control (CO2, humidity and temperature) as well as advanced liquid handling for simultaneous liquid addition and reading.

The ImageXpressULTRA is a true point-scanning confocal system that features laser-based illumination for sequential or simultaneous imaging.

The IsoCyte™ is an automation-friendly benchtop laser scanning imager available in either a single or dual laser configuration. The IsoCyte™ enables robust real-time assays for microarray, bead, cell and colony classification and enumeration in user-defined or commercially available formats.
