Molecular Devices is pleased to announce the release of MetaXpress version 3.1 for the Complete Solution for High Content Screening. Key features for this release include an all new Laser Autofocus Wizard and more functionalities for MDCStoreToolsTM, the MDCStore data management utility.

New for the MetaXpress 3.1 Software

Laser Autofocus Wizard: Easy configuration of the laser autofocus on ImageXpress® imaging systems with a new configuration wizard 

ImageXpress image acquisition systems support the largest number of sample types, allowing imaging from standard SBS plate formats to trans-well filters or whole organisms. The systems support low magnification imaging (1X and 2X) up to high resolution research imaging with 100X oil objectives! Now with the MetaXpress software version 3.1, laser autofocus set-up for all plate types and objectives is done with a simple wizard that simplifies configuration of the robust laser autofocus hardware.
