Translocation

Molecular translocation of transcription factors from the cytoplasm to the nucleus is a pivotal event in many processes critical to cellular activation, differentiation, and host defense. Existing methods used to measure nuclear translocation have significant limitations.

High-content analysis systems can overcome these limitations by providing automatic and rapid acquisition and analysis of images and generation of multi-parametric data. These systems are well suited to the analysis of nuclear translocation across a variety of cell types, including primary cells and stem cells.
